It was alot of fun making this dress.We changed the Skirt and removed the train (as a train at a school ball is ever a good idea -I learnt the hard way) And she basicaly left it all up to me too see what i could do.
I tried to keep the detail on the neck line the same but I did raise it slightly so she wasn't so 'out there'
Lucy had talked about making it knee length as most Wellington Ball gowns these days are more cocktail dresses (think- Saturday night town dress + styling) But she was in the end that this gown really needed to be floor length to make it what it is.

But in True Bridget fashion -I turned up with the finished gown the day of the Ball and what happens... the zip breaks... sigh. So off i went to get a new zip, which i couldn't find, so i use a black one and moved the zip from the centre back to the side seam.
Which actually made it look alot nicer. the back was smooth and was more flattering -We just made sure she posed with that arm by her side :)
